I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hidden gem near Kandy. The hotel's stunning infinity pool offered breathtaking views, and the luxurious rooms were the epitome of comfort. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, from the welcoming staff to the impeccable facilities. I especially loved the unique charm of the main house and the beautiful artwork scattered throughout. The tranquility and peace that surrounded the property truly made it a perfect retreat. Despite a few minor drawbacks like occasional patchy WiFi and limited menu options for children, my overall experience at The Flame Tree Estate & Hotel was exceptional. I can't wait to return and relive the magic!

Beautifully restored house with spacious rooms, awesome bathrooms, and a perfectly-sized pool with a splendid view. Wonderful hospitality from the owner, who came by a few times while we were dining, and the friendly staff. Enjoyed chatting with the manager, and playing with the adorable schnauzers. Great food too.

The hotel was a fantastic boutique option for a romantic escape. the staff were lovely and attentive, and some even offered medicine when I felt car sick from the long journey. the food was stunning, with freshly prepared dishes available for breakfast and dinner. the hotel's grounds were beautiful and elegantly designed, and the infinity pool was a great place to cool off.
The location was hard to find as there was no sign to show where to drive up to the property, and the address on Google was wrong. the manager was rude to our driver on the phone.
